Thyroid on a ChIP is the first Arab-specific genetic diagnosis tool in the world. We aim to provide Arab cancer patients an equal chance of getting an accurate diagnosis, through utilizing are non-invasive ChIP.
OUR STORY
The rise of thyroid cancer misdiagnosis cases opened our eyes on the problem the is the unavailability of diagnosis tools that suit the Arab genetic make-up. That is why our team is designing an Arab-specific tool by pin-pointing the genetic markers found in Arab thyroid cancer patients, which differ from other ethnic groups, specifically the markers the widely spread Caucasian-specific genetic tools are designed to find.
CURRENT AND FUTURE PLANS
We are currently conducting intensive research at Khalifa University's Center For Biotechnology, using the support our team earned from Expo Live. In the near future, we aim to finalize our ChIP design, and start selling the our products to our local hospitals. The next step is to expand to the GCC, and the entire middle east.
